Okay here we go for March and April
So I have been busy and things have been crazy, but let me see if I can wrap up this last couple months.
Kyle turned 7 and planned his own party. He even invited his friends to come. He wrote me a note to tell me to pick them up and bring them to his party at Peter Piper Pizza. The one flaw of his plan is that he did not tell Laura about this. The kids had fun though after Laura called in to have the party table reserved. I can not believe that Kyle has turned 7!
Then CJ turned 5! He wanted a Chucky Cheese party with his friend Paul and Caleb. So we got to have another fun time of screaming children and lots of noise. But CJ had fun and got to have his picture taken with Chucky Cheese. With the help of Uncle Jonathan; Together all the kids and adults won 1786 tickets ~~ the kids thought that was cool. Feeding them into the ticket counter was the best part.
Then when I had some time I drove up to Arkansas to see my grandmother. We helped install some new toilets into her house and planted plants around her bird bath. We also went up to my grandfather's farm and got to look around and see the path a tornado took when it ripped through. It is amazing to see what nature can do when it sets it's mind to it. Kane of course filled my car with rocks and plants which amazing enough are mostly still alive.
Of course I babysat the kiddos as usual and they got to play with their friends. Kane's bubbers are a big hit as always. Grandma's backyard is just a constant playground within itself.
This Easter Mom was in Arkansas so we celebrated without her. We grilled fish and corn on the cob, colored eggs, and had and Easter egg hunt. It was fun to see everyone and the kids had allot of fun with the plastic eggs. As I said the bubblers are a huge hit!
My college roommate Kim was moving to Virgina just outside of west point with her Marine husband. They decided to drive the cars and were going through LA. My other college roommate Peaches lives in LA so we all decided to meet up and hang out. We went to New Orleans which we all had not done together since Grandpa Potter took us. It was amazing to see how much was rebuilt and how much still was in ruins. We went to Pat O'Brien to make a toast to Grandpa Potter who was the one the took us there in the first place. It was great to see my friends and just get to hang out and have fun.
Other then that things here are fast paced as always.
