Okay I have two different photographers I want you guys to compare!!
www.bellapictures.com
and
www.reniassancephotographics.com
Tell me what you think ~~ which one you like!!
Posted by Emily at October 21, 2004 10:17 PMUmm, there's no pictures of ugly people in both galleries.... I mean ugly people do have weddings right? I dont know, just seem like they really want your money and they will get it by putting up only gorgeous people and their weddings... or perhaps call it advertising.
BUT if I had to pick.... it'd be Renaissance.
Posted by: Jay at October 22, 2004 12:07 AMBella's photography is the one that I seem to have liked the best. Hope that helps! How are the wedding plans coming??
Posted by: Melissa at October 22, 2004 05:17 PMThe renassance pictures are beautiful but much more posed as oppossed to real life, the bella seems more capturing real life but less beautiful. Also with the renassance you can get them for engagement pictures and bridal and the wedding. I don't know which one I would go with though. Beautiful versus life moments sighhhh
Posted by: Jen at October 22, 2004 05:49 PMI like bella better. The pictures seem more in focus, more professional, and more picture-worthy moments. Its true that many of them are 'posed' but, in my experience, that happens in most weddings anyways.
Posted by: Chris Knight at October 25, 2004 02:13 PMIt depends. What is the purpose of your pictures? Do you want to capture the wedding as it happens or do you want someone to "envision" your wedding and "force a perspective"? In the years to come, what do you want to remember? reality or fiction? Personally I would go with one that does candid vs. posed shots. You only have this day once and you are going to know for the rest of your life if the photographer was capturing you or a fake you that the photographer "artfully" saw. You know? It's one thing for the pose in your bridal gown but the pics of the actual event....I would want real ones
Posted by: Laura at October 25, 2004 06:59 PMWell I have to say that as I was watching/seeing the different pictures on both sites, the renaissance set was screaming "Emily" to me. Now I will confess, I don't know you as well as some people, but that was my first impression.
I think Chris but it the best there are more picture-worthy moments (I think he was talking about renaissance not bella). The photographer has a way of capturing life at just the right moment that makes it appear to be posed, but it isn't. I think we perceive it to be posed, because it seems too perfect. If you look at many of the pictures, especially of the reception, they are in the moment, real, and alive.
As always, I say go with the one you love best. Don't be swayed by anyone's opinion. This is your wedding and you should remember it as you want and in your own taste.
