Well I am not in jail

The question still hangs in the air. Kane, Mom, and I got up early this morning with nerves jumping. We drove down to the Durant lawyer’s office and sat waiting. Then prep for the trail and to the courthouse we walked. So we sat on the bench outside the courtroom and watched three uniformed state troopers enter the court room. Then my lawyer came out and said that something different was going on and we needed to go into the court room. So I enter and sit at the table with my lawyer with my stomach churning. So the judge says that he is going to review the transcript of the original trail where the perjury was supposed to take place and the video of the stop and allow the lawyer to attach closing arguments in writing. So he is going to take all the evidence home and review it all there and let me know whether I am innocent or guilty in a week or two. Then he said well that it you guys can go. So that was it, I leave the courtroom and nothing seems to be decided. I mean my lawyer says that they can not be planning to convict me because they would have to let me testify in open court, but with all the stuff that has happened I am still not sure.

So the big day turned into more waiting. Anyway I came home and then went to a movie and ate out. When I got home from that Kane got me to lie down and I took a 3 hour nap (which those of you who know me know I never nap). Anyway so that is the excitement of the day!! So I guess we will just wait and see how it goes.

It sucks that you have to wait longer when you anticipated it all being done with today. I wasn't there and didn't see the lawyer, but he sounds like a reasonable person by taking all the evidences and reviewing it at home. Hopefully that much time will allow him to see clearly that you did not commit the crimes that you are being accused of.

Good luck and I'll say some prayers for you! When its all done with, you should come visit me with Michelle (read my blog).

I think it's looking favorable towards you with what the judge is doing. Will keep praying about it!
