Well Kane and I went to the Great Wolf Lodge as an early birthday present to me.
The entrance to the hotel was pretty cool and it is right across the street from the Gaylord Texan (where we stayed for our honeymoon). It is a family friendly hotel with a log cabin room for the kids (if you have them).
They have several trees in the main lobby and they must have taken the molds from real trees ~~ I thought it had an incredible look. And it was a different look which I liked allot. It is nice to see something unique in a hotel.
The big attraction of this hotel is that it has an inside water park. They had several waterslides, a wave pool, water fort, and lazy river. Kane and I had a blast in the water park. They had some great slides and it was nice to be in the water. Though it does feel strange to be in a wave pool with no sunlight, I still enjoyed playing in the water in February.
The other thing that made me go to this hotel was the spa tub suite. As you can see the tub was wonderful. I spent allot of time in the water during this trip.
They also had an arcade ~~ so Kane and I played games and won tickets. It was allot of fun and we did not have to leave the hotel. Overall it was allot of fun though I did get sick near the end of my stay, but nothing can be perfect.
