Sushi

Well it has been a very busy week for me and even though I finally got to sleep in today; I am still totally exhausted!!! It might be the cloudy day that is keeping me from waking up totally. Well Jennifer and Rene came to visit this week so we celebrated Jen's birthday late ~~ Jennifer decided that for her birthday dinner she wanted to go eat sushi :O) YEAH (I say) Ewwww (Mom say), but some how we got her to come anyway!!

As you can see Mom was very skeptical about the sushi. She finally gave up on trying something on the menu and had Jennifer and I order something for her. "IT MUST BE COOKED!!" was the one thing required. :O)

As you can see we got her some sushi for beginners, which meant that everything was cooked :O) Mom ended up eating mostly Jonathan's chicken and like the Cucumber rolls, just not the seaweed wrapping.

Dad and I loved it though and I had fun eating different kinds of sushi with Jennifer and Rene. Overall it was very good.

Other then that my nurse externship is winding down and Friday is my last day :O( But the good news is that they hired me to work on the Peds floor this next year :O) I am very happy about that!! Other then that Saturday I start my two week vacation away from work and Oklahoma ~~ I need the rest very much and I can not wait to relax a little bit or at least try.

Other then that I have been getting Dad to clean out the cave room so we can put the twin beds in there. Mom's bought a new queen matress to put in Jennifer's room. This means ALLOT of work :O( Oh well you know how it goes :O)

I am getting married . . .

Well the date is set . . . . . June 26th 2005 ~~ just so everyone knows :O)

Oh and just so there is no confusion this is not my dress ~~ I just thought that a picture of me semi-bridal was appropriate for this little announcement.

Other then that summer is just whizzing by and that is okay!! I need a vacation BIG time and can not wait until August ~~ I am taking like two weeks off and just relaxing :O) Other then that I get to get up very very early in the morning to go to work, which is always fun. I am enjoying the pediatric floor allot, but getting up for 5:45 am is just not too much fun.

Yeah!!

Well this past weekend I was able to run up to Dallas again with Kane to decide on a wedding location. We decided on the Dallas Arboretum ~~ so that is one more thing off my mind. I might even have a date for everyone later today :O)

Kane little kitten, who he has named Max is growing quite large and is very playful. Love to climb and pounce and never sleeps for very long.

I found the Arboretum to be very pretty and even though it might be a little bit hot, that is going to be okay, with Texas weather you never know. Though the guest might have to bring fans to keep cool :O)

As you can see from this picture Kane is very excitied about getting to choose with me about wedding stuff. Why is it that males do not have as many ideas about weddings as the girls?? I always wondered why that was ~~ but anyway at least that is what is going on with me right now ~~
