THE WEEKEND!!

Well for the first time since school started I did not have a test this past Friday. So it was the perfect weekend to attend another wedding :O) Yes my friend Martyn got married this weekend in Houston. This means I VISITED KANE!! I went down to College Station and saw "The Foreigner" which is a play. The play had the actors from the Tuna series ~~ if you do not know what I am talking about then you are a theatre illiterate ~~ but it was fantastic :O)

The Kane and I dressed up and went to Houston on Saturday to the wedding. It was a very, very nice wedding with 7 bridesmaids and groomsmen. At the reception there was a CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN ~~ yes ~~ and you dipped strawberries, pineapple, cherries, or marshmallows in the flow and you had chocolate cover stuff. I loved it!! It was so so great!! They also had a great little video that was about how they meet and cute couple photos. It was a nice wedding and I had a blast dancing. The weekend was much too short!! I had allot of fun!!

Jon's Early Birthday

Well this weekend I did not have to work ~~ YEAH!! Jon's birthday is on the 12th as we all know, but since he was going to be heading back to OSU on Sunday, it was decided that we would celebrate today. Mom and Dad had an Awana Leadership Conference that they had to do and Jon was working ~~ which left me all alone in the house. This inspired me to go to the Dollar store to find decorations. I decided that I needed to get some attention on Jon for his big 22nd birthday ~~

As you can see I decorated his car, which the people at his work LOVED!!! Then I ran inside his work and sang Happy Birthday to him VERY loudly and brought him out to see all my handy work. It was quite the hit :O)

After that I came home and decorated the house, wrapped presents for Jon to open, and then planted some plants for Mom in the backyard. Then we went out to dinner at Abuelos, which was very good!! After that we went to play some mini-golf. Even though Mom had a commanding lead at the beginning, Jon and Dad tied for first place :O) We had allot of fun and the weather was perfect for it!!

Finally we came home got Jon a birthday pie from Tippin's!! French Silk, which was quite good even though Jon would not let me put candles on it. I mean how can you have a birthday without candles?? After all that Jon opened presents!! This is the shot glass he got from Laura ~~ I thought I took a great picture.

The Painting project

Well Monday Mom, Dad, and I all started the painting project in my room :O) It went really well and I LOVE the color which I custom mixed myself with "Blue Booties" and "Magical Merlin" ~~

This is my room before we painted and with nothing on the walls!!

Here is the two colors that I choose to do the fuax finish ~~ after mom and I painted the window seat area we realized that it would take WAYYYY too long to paint the whole room that way so then we, with Dad's help, painted the rest of the room!!

This is after, now it does not show the fuax finish off very well, but I will let MOm post that picture because she is really excitied about it. I had fun, but I did have to sleep in Jon's room last night to allow the paint to dry :O)
