Tuesday

Well it is Tuesday!!

I took Mom to the doctor on Monday and they have diagnosed her with pneumonia!! Mom was looking really bad when we were at the doctor and I think the doctor thought Mom needed to be in hospital :o0 But she was given her meds and I took her home.

I got mom this calla lily to help make her feel better and besides you know that Mom and I need more plants :O)

But the tulips are blooming, the weather has been nice, and I had a test today that made more then one of the students cry :O) But all is well I passed so that is all that matters!! It is going to be busy, but I have way too many things to do :O) Jonathan has been working hard on the website for the wedding and it is starting to look really good! I have invitations to do which is always fun :O) Well I hope everyone is well :O)

Easter

Well Easter was very different for us this year ~~ because of mom's illness, Dad allowed everyone to sleep. I had to thing with Baylor hospital on Saturday so I drove all day to get back Saturday night. I woke up about 10:20am and stumbled downstairs. So I ended up watching the live Eater performnce of one of the church's here.

After that I took out the tide-dye egg dye kit that Mom and I got on sale last year :O)

There was a plastic containter for the egg that you poked holes in. Then you got two squares of cloth and poked them with a pencil through the hole and then put the egg between the cloth and close the container.

Next you add the egg dye to the cloth sticking out of the holes.

Finally it comes out as a tye-dye egg. Which looks pretty cool if I do say so myself. I thought this was a cute picture!

After all that Jon and I went to a movie (Man of the House) which was funny and very light so I liked it. Then we got home and Mom was out of bed, so we sat down and watched the Veggie Tale Easter Carol.

Overall not too bad of an Easter!

Day Out at the Arboretum

During Spring Break I traveled all over Texas. I spent one day in the Arboretum with just about everyone.

This is were my wedding reception will take place and with me are Kane (taking the picture), Jennifer, Mom, and Kim (playing with CJ), Kim's boyfriend Micheal sitting on the steps, Rene' watching the girls play with CJ, I am holding Kyle and the man with the white hair is the pastor for the cermony Uncle Bill :O) We were just checking out the sight and letting everyone walk around.

The tulips were in bloom in Dallas and there were a million kids there with parents trying to take Easter pictures ~ here is my picture of my "kid" :O) He is such a cutie !!

There is a foutain at the Arboretum that are huge frogs spitting water ~~ Kyle had fun playing in the water ~ no need for a shower tonight :O) We all had fun :O)

CJ is 1

On March 15th CJ turned 1!!!

CJ is sporting his new cup and bib! Such a cutie!!

Here is CJ digging into his cake :O) He also shared the cake with Mom ~~ nothing like frosting in the hair :O)

CJ may have been given the gifts, but it was Kyle who opened them :O)

I created the atmosphere of the party and we had a fun time. It is amazing how fast they grow :O)

Exhuasted

Well I have finally hit the end ~~ I am so tired I can not even say. Though I have enjoyed playing with Kyle and CJ. I am heading out to College Station tommorow and hopefully I can catch up on sleep. I need a slight vacation from everything. Anyway I hope that everyone is having fun and getting some down time!

She was adopted into the family through Laura smuggling her into the house. She was best known for "The Lick". She always tried to keep Jonathan's feet and hair bathed because he would not bathe himself. Always seen at night curled up in Mom's lap enjoying a good nap. One of her many alias was "The Vulture" known to hover around the Thanksgiving turkey waiting for the unattended moment. In a flash pieces of turkey would disappear and woe to the person who tried to get it back. We will miss her!

A Weekend Out

I just got back from my weekend in McKinney. I had fun and Kyle's birthday was a BIG success :O)

Kyle got to go to Chucky Cheese for his birthday ~~ he loves pepperoni and was nice enough to make our pepperoni pizza, a cheese pizza.

Kyle got a Thomas Cake which was really cool because it had a running "baby" Thomas. Kyle loved it!!

Kyle also got a conductor hat which I think looks quite good on John's head! It looks really nice on him and very cute on Kyle :O)

CJ enjoyed cuddling with his grandma and has decided that you can not know what anything is unless you taste it!

This hat looks really cute on CJ, who is at this moment working on walking :O) There are bets out that he will be walking by his birthday.

Other then that I get to work tomorrow and Laura is bringing the boys down tomorrow or the next day!!

Okay well I got to go to Durant again to play around with the small town justice system. It was a horrible experience and after many tears I just do not want to talk about it anymore. :O( So that is always fun.

Now onto the good part of the weekend ~~

My two fun and energy filled nephews helped me to forget about the mean people that can run through the world. With the help of John and Laura I scoped out an apartment and found one. The pool meets with Laura's approval and so the boys will be swimming this summer. Other then that Laura, Mom, and I all had fun shopping and playing with the boys. Then I went to visit Kane . . . .
