Baby Shower

My friend Jenny is having a baby girl. After much discussion at the shower she is going to name the baby Peyton Elizabeth Wright. She is due in 8 weeks!!

Of course the cake is always an important part of any shower!!

The kids where having fun playing with the wrapping paper. Jenny got some great stuff including two car seats, clothes, toys, clothes, bath stuff, and toys. We played the clothes pin again which I did great at until it came to talking with someone else about hospital stuff :O( Oh well so it goes. I just had fun seeing her again after all this time.

Do you guys know who these two people are?? (a quiz for the teachers hehehe!!)

Labor Day Weekend

This Labor Day Weekend ~ Kane and I drove to Goldthwaite Texas and visited his grandmother house. The whole Horton clan (Kane's mother's family) was there for a fish fry. The fish was very good and I must say it was a fun and relaxing weekend. There were allot of things that we did while there . . . .

Shooting at clay pigeons (more like around :O) ),

playing a round of washers (which is like horse shoes only you use washers and a point board), going fishing (I went down to the tank and watch his cousins fish and just talked), hiking on the mountain (Kane was actually getting tonz of rocks to fill up his many aquariums, and finally RUN FOR YOU LIFE!! This was a fun game that was started by me when I went out on his grandparents’ porch and got stung in the BUM by a wasp ~ through my shorts and everything! This was followed by people running around to avoid the wasp that got one of his little cousin's in the head and his Uncle in the back before the spray was found. Though through out the weekend people would run inside suddenly whenever a wasp like shape came around!! (By the way the sting swelled up to a nice welt the size of Kane's palm! YEAH ME!!)

Other then that Kane got a hair cut by his grandmother while we were there ~ I have a fun picture of it but Kane would kill me for putting it up. . . . . . . . .

So here it is ~~ he is very cute!! Anyway that was my weekend!!
