Well March 13th, 14th, and 15th Kimmy (my old roommate from College Station came to visit on her spring break. I am not sure how much of a break she got. On the 13th we went to Dallas on the DART :O) Which was pretty cool if I do say so myself. For $2.50 you can ride the train and the buses anywhere you want pretty much :O) We explored the West End and went to the Farmers market. On the bus the other older male passengers where ever concerned about our ability to get to the market. One older man told the bus driver "Those little girls want to go to the farmers market. Make sure they get off on the right stop." Seeing as I am now 27 years old being called a "little" girl was interesting. We bought some fresh veggies and a mint plant that smelled like chocolate and another plant that smelled like lemon.

On the 14th we spent the day shopping at Ikea with my friend Carmen and doing stuff for Carlen's up coming baby shower. Later that night we spent from midnight to 2:30am decorating Laura's house for CJ's birthday :O)

Finally on the 15th we visited my friend Carlen and then went to CJ's birthday!!

Aunt Emmie gives the best gifts ~~ CJ opens it. . .

. . . Jumps over mom . . . .

. . . goes outside to play with it :O)

Of course the big boy had to blow out his candles as we were singing, so I did not get time to let me flash recharge. That is why the picture is dark.

All in all it was a good week though now I am suffering from the lack of sleep by coughing and being sick. Some things are worth it :O)

DMA

Today Carmen, Shawn (Carmen's boyfriend), and I decided to go to the Dallas Museum of Art. Buy the time we got near the museum Kane had gotten off work early and meet us there :O)

We saw the special exhibit which is the Mayan exhibit. It had some cool stuff in it and two of the jar carvings looked like the knockers from "The Labyrinth" :O)

Then we walked all over the museum just looking ~~ though we did not have enough time to really get a good look. We will have to go again when there is more time!! But it was allot of fun :O)

Kyle is 4

Well it was Kyle's birthday this Saturday :O) So while Mom and the Mullen’s were at Pizza Planet ~~ I was at the house decorating for Kyle’s birthday!!

First thing Kyle did was play shy and then he finally ran through the streamers. I had set up some toys on the fireplace and both boys went straight to that. After playing for a bit; Kyle said "Let's Eat Cake".

Here is Kyle blowing out his candles on the Bob the builder cake. Which on my birthday he promised that he would share with me :O)

Finally Kyle opened presents, of course CJ had to inspect every one !! All in all a pretty good day.
