Aunt Emmie Strikes Again

Well this last Monday I got to watch my little nephews :O) We had allot of fun. In the morning we played train, cars, chase, and a mix of all those things together :O)

Next we went outside and played in the sand :O) I enjoyed that and I love that the weather is getting warmer!

We played in the bounce house, though Kyle spent most of the time with me in the bounce house. While CJ was happier just mowing the lawn, running around the bounce house, and racing around in his car.

Finally the boys came inside for their showing of "Snow White". As you can see for CJ one drink is not enough. Aunt Emmie drink looks good as well. Finally they went down for their nap which lasted until Laura came home!! Over all I had allot of fun exhausting my nephews :O)

Well after my exhausting weekend out. I worked two days and had three off from work. For those of you that do not know my car suffered injury the last time I was in Tulsa. Some one side swiped it and destroyed my new hub caps. So I went out and got some more and then customized them :O) So what do you guys think??

Other then that Kane got a NEW JOB!! YEAH!! They are paying better and giving him allot of responsibility :O) HE is looking forward to the challenge. The name of the company is Longhorn Landscape Creations (we are willing to look past the longhorn part being the good and forgiving AGGIES that we are).

baby shower weekend

Well this past weekend was my "Girl Out" weekend for my friend Carlen. She is pregnant with her third child and I decided that we needed to kidnap her for a weekend. Allow her to have a weekend away from her kids :O) So Carmen, Hannah(childhood friend of Carlen), and I made plans for the weekend.

First thing that happened was that on Friday I went to Hannah house and then we dropped in on Carlen and kidnapped her. She was totally surprised :O) We took her to a hotel where we watched "adult" TV which ended up being the news (seeing as Carlen had not been able to see it in years). Next we took her to the melting pot. I love fondue :O)

The next day we went to Carlen's mother house for the baby shower. Seeing as the theme of the nursery is pink bunnies ~~ Carmen and I decided to go over board with the theme. So everyone wore ears and everything was pink. The cupcakes had pink bunnies on them and the food and the prizes and everything we could think of. Anyway the shower was a great success. After the shower we went to the Galleria and ate a GREAT dinner and then just did girl things.

Finally I had all her friends from the shower pitch in and we got her a mothers-to-be spa package at Elizabeth Arden Red Door salon. She got a massage, facial, manicure, pedicure, and a spa lunch :O) She had a wonderful time.

The pink thing is a bonnet that Carmen gave Carlen. Carlen does not like when people put bow or headbands on babies, so she is going for bonnets. (this is a picture at the spa :O) )

Overall a good weekend, but exhausting :O) Plus with the time change things got a little behind , but everything worked out great!
