We made it 2 years!!

Well Tuesday was Kane and my 2nd wedding anniversary!! I can not believe that Kane and I made it 2 years and we are both alive :O)

It is hard to imagine that on our wedding day two years ago people were complaining about heat and now we are complaining about rain ~~ Things can change in a short amount of time!! Anyway on our anniversary we had to go to the doctor, But . . . .

. . . . I had to do just a few things ~~

One ~~ Kane and I cut a cake together and feed it to each other. It was an Oreo cookie cake and Kane actually ate it :O) (which those of you who know he; well it is a rare things since he does not like allot of sweet things)

Then we had to drink Champaign with the twining of arms :O) Very cheesy I know, but hey why not??

After that we looked at wedding pictures ~~ cuddled and watched a movie. Nothing too crazy, but that is okay ~~ sometimes it is nice to rest :O) It is strange to think back 2 years ago and remember all the things I thought at the time. It has been quite a ride for Kane and myself ~~ but in the end I am glad that we could make it togethe

MY HOUSE!!

Well here are the first pictures of my house ~~ YEAH!!!

Here Mom and I are standing inside the front door ~~ what can I say the house is quite roomy ~~ has almost an airy quality :O) I am very excited though ~~ I have waited a long time for this ~~

Here is a picture of my backyard ~~ WE GOT TREES!!! If you look carefully you can see my Dad standing near the back of the property :O) As my mom says "That is ALLOT of yard." or as Grandpa says "Kane must really like to mow." In which I say ~~ he better because I am not mowing :O)

I can not believe the house is finally getting started :O)

Saturday Madness

Well this last Saturday I helped my friend Carlen with her son Caleb's 4th birthday party :O) Kyle and CJ attended the Spiderman extravaganza as well as friends, kids, and family members. Once again my decorating services where called in ~~ because as we all know I am the decorating diva :O) Anyway lots of balloons everywhere ~~

Oh . . . I got in my new camera because my last Canon ~~ well ~~ let us just say it went to that great camera heaven in the sky!! But here you can see my new camera caught the balloon just before it hit me in the head ~~ but I thought it was a very cute shot of Kyle and Caleb. They hit is off with Kyle mostly telling Caleb what to do .. . but that is our Kyle. Or my Kyle seeing as everyone at the party thought the boys were my kids :O) Anyway the boys had allot of fun running through streamer curtains, hitting balloon, socking a piñata with a bat, eating cake, playing with toys, and watching Spiderman 1. All in all a very busy day!!

As you can see my friend Carmen was there as well helping with the kids and taking care of the food. So cute though these kinds of picture work out allot better when Kane takes them ~~ he has longer arms :O)

Houston Wedding

This past weekend Kane and I went to Houston for our friend Jason’s wedding. It was nice to get away for a little bit and do nothing. Which is what we ended up doing ~~

The ceremony was in a church with stained glass, which is my favorite. Though it was the first wedding I attended that no one took pictures during the ceremony. I felt out of place and thus did not take the pictures I normally do.

The reception was at the Johnson Space Center ~~ dancing and food. Though I did get to see my college friend Neesie ~~ which was nice because it had been forever!!

Kane and I did see Shrek 3 while we were there which I thought was pretty good. I mean I was not expecting earth shattering. Just some humor and something I did not have to think too much about. Though after seeing the princesses I wonder which one best matches which member of the Potter sisters ?? hmmmmm. . . . a little bit of thought for ya!!
