Well things are crazy right now ... But let me see if I can update really quick.

First . . . I celebrated New Years at MY new house!! Still seems crazy that I have a house of my own.

Anyway . . . for New Years the boys played with air guns . . .

. . . running around my huge backyard.

My friend Robbie, Peaches, Carmen, and I roasted marshmallows in the chiminea. I do so love fire!!

Other then that we played board games and drank champaign and just had allot of fun.

Other then that we have been living out of the house and moving things from the apartment slowly. But all 5 cats are moved to the house . . . .

We put a cay door in so the cats could go potty in the garage.

But it is a new year with a new house. Just some renovation and moving left to do. Anyway more to come!!

To Grandpa Potter

Well I liked this picture of Grandpa ~~ I think it shows the thing I loved about him the most ~~ HIS SMILE and SENSE OF HUMOR!! I have found these past few days it hard to pass his room and not hear his voice. But in my heart I know that he is with God and in a better place. But I will still miss him everyday. I am not sure what to say about grandpa except that I think I got my love of taking care of people from him. Seeing as that is what I based my career choice as a nurse on ~~ well I can not Thank him enough. I always loved grandpa's idea that to honor the people you love who have passed you do not put flowers on their grave, but in the kitchen. That way you get to enjoy them and be reminded. So I think that for my January 4th will be the day to get flowers. It is amazing to think that my favorite place to take my college friends was to visit Grandpa in Oceansprings. I recall with a smile how he would out walk us in New Olreans. It is funny to watch three college girls ask him to sit down for a little bit. I love you Grandpa with all my heart.
