Rene's birthday

Right after Jennifer's birthday is Rene's birthday!!

Both Kyle and CJ once angain helped to open presents. They are very thoughtful that way. You would not want the birthday boy to get all tired out.

Alyssa and grabdpa have fun giving high fives.

We could not find the birthday candles, so Rene's got one for good luck to go along with his ice cream cake.

Kane brought his plane over and flew it for the boys. They loved it when he crashed it into a neighbor's tree.

We ended the night playing the Wii. We got my mom to play a little bit and mostly spent the time playing Mario Kart with Rene's new wheels. I thought it was awesome!! I have always liked Mario Kart.

4th of July and Jen's birthday

Catch up . . . We had a barbeque in the backyard at my mom's house for the fourth of July.

Jonathan was there and as you can see Mom is wearing her 4th of July shirt.

Jennifer was the cook ~~ cooking up the good meat . . . yummy.

Kim had a lay over and so she got to hang out with the family as well. After food Jen, Dad, and I went out on the hill beside the neighborhood and watched the surrounding cities shows. Then back to my parents’ house to play cards. It was allot of fun and I had a great time seeing Kim again!!

Then came Jennifer's birthday!!

Jennifer had fun getting the kids into trouble by throwing rocks into the pond. Don't they look so cute??

Then the boys (as always) helped Jennifer to open up her presents and read her cards. The big present was a Wii!!

Here is Jennifer making her Wii character ~~ which everyone in the family did. It was allot of fun playing with the faces, hair, and others things.

Then we played with sparklers in the backyard. Jennifer loves fireworks of all kinds ~~ I thought this was a cool picture of her with her sparklers. CJ would not get near them, Kyle would hold them but would go from loving them to freaking out, and Alyssa kept trying to grab them. It was fun to play with them and I think Jennifer though old was still able to enjoy the fun :O)
