We went to Irving and found a beautiful bluebonnet field (on our way to check out the airport and daddy's new office building). Here are our boys reposing in bluebonnets. I'll try to put more pictures on the gallery in a bit.
We went out to the airport to a special area where you can picnic and watch the planes go by. Here is Daddy and son enjoying the view.
Kyle and CJ napping in Mom and Dad's bed!
we took CJ in for his one month check up on Tuesday. He weighs 11 pounds and 7 ounces now! A TWO pound gain in the past two weeks. At this rate he will be out of 0-3 month clothes AND size one diapers next week! Wow! CJ is also now 22 1/4 inches long --- 3/4ths of an inch gain! What a big boy! I am going to have two big boys --- the kind football coaches drool over!
Laura --- as you can probably tell by the frequency of my posts now....having a newborn and a two year old is EXHAUSTING! John and I basically are surviving these two more than anything else. Kyle is into everything and runs John ragged playing all sorts of chasing, throwing, wrestling, and of course car games. Luckily for mommy who is too tired to do so! Then at night, CJ is keeping both of us up --- eventually he'll sleep through the night.....what 14 months from now?
I love my boys completely --- don't get me wrong....but I do see why my mom is so thin and why I am wasting away! I have already lost over thirty pounds.
The CJ and Kyle weight loss program!!!!
CJ is doing his best to show off for Mom and Dad....reinforcing his place (like his brother) as ruler of the household. He kept mom and dad up for two nights in a row from 10:00 until past midnight complaining at the top of his lungs at the way things were being run. Then he went to sleep only to have another screaming conversation around 4:00. Mom and Dad are tired!
Meanwhile Big brother Kyle is busy telling mom and dad in no uncertain terms what he wants them to do and when especially with his favorite command "side". Luckily the weather held up today to play "side" but rain is on the way which will make for one unhappy big brother!
