We decorated the desert sand stripe with Thomas the Train, covered the bed in a train tent and rearranged all his books and stuffed animals. All Kyle's room needs now are curtains.
We left a stripe of desert sand, painted the top portion in Sea Sprite and the bottom portion in Tropical pool. Looks very professional if we don't say so ourselves. Kyle's first reaction was "Oh my goodness!" and he jumped up and down.
Snow began falling around 10:30 this morning and has been going steadily all day. We took the boys out after naps. CJ didn't like his coat and didn't quite know what to do with the white stuff. He did smile for us a couple of times but overall he liked looking through the window in the living room better.
Kyle of course (as you can see below) ran and played and ran and played until his little fingers turned red from the cold and we forced him to come inside.
Once again the mean scrooges of Christmas tortured their sons Kyle and CJ by making them visit with Santa and tell him what they wanted for Christmas.
:-)
Emily, Mom, Kane and John decorated the kitchen for my 31st birthday in ....Disney Princesses of course! Complete with princess cake and paper dolls. Dad and Grandpa called to wish me a Happy Birthday while we were eating at the Olive Garden. !
Well, CJ refused to smile (THREE teeth coming in today!) but Kyle was performing well. Our boys at Christmas!
Five Chompers and three more on the way!
Until we get a chance to get our "official" Mullen Family picture at Kiddie Kandids, we thought it would be good to finally have a family picture with CJ in it at the top of our potterfam weblog. Only fair ---- after all, CJ is now almost 9 months!
