Our pumpkins. :-) "Pumpkins are not scary," quotes Kyle.
With the wind, we thought we had a chance...turned out to ebb and flow too much and we couldn't keep the kite up very long. Boys had a blast though. (On a trivia note...the name of this post...what movie is that song from?)
Another fine Sunday...especially with the picnic after services at our church. They erected a giant tent where the new sanctuary is going to be (in three years) and had jason's deli meals for us and water. Next week is a giant service in the tent at 10:30 (instead of three like they normally have). Means a lot of people and a full parking lot!
We went through the boys' clothes, and while Kyle still has a closet full that fit...CJ has about five shirts (long sleeved) and about that many pants. Guess CJ is getting clothes for Christmas.
For Halloween, at preschool, the classes wore their Halloween costumes and decorated their "bikes". Then they paraded around the auditorium/gym and had cookies and punch.
John snapped these pictures of the Festivities.

Here are Kyle and Cade (Kyle's new best friend) waiting on the teacher's instructions.

Kyle was invited by his friend from preschool, Cade to play over at his house today. They played from 9 till 11:30 and according to Kyle they had a lot of fun. They played with trains and he had the black train. John said that he was all smiles when he was dropped off and picked up. Cade's mom said that Kyle was a very sweet boy and that everything went well.
Our little boy is growing up!
John and I took the boys (with our free tickets from school) to the State Fair of Texas. Kyle and CJ had a blast -- of course we went to the Science Place, the children's midway, the train garden and the food area so there wasn't any adult stuff on the agenda. Makes it better for them....maybe next year we can go through the exhibits too but when you are fighting two tired toddlers....just doesn't work out.
"The boys" at the entrance.
Part of the Fair was a fisher price exhibit where kids could try out all the new Fisher Price toys for the Holiday season. Stop #1 for the Mullen family.
Here are Kyle and CJ in the preschool/toddler area.
Kyle playing with the Geotracks train and concentrating hard!
CJ checking out the Little People display.
Kyle and CJ played for quite awhile with the race cars. You shake them and then they run around the track. Our boys though, preferred to move them on the track themselves.
They also had a big race track for the kids to test out life size cars. Here is CJ in the tot section.
Here is Kyle with the Jeep. Took him a little while to figure out the gas pedal function but he did enjoy himself.
