Sleeping Beauty

Last night, we put CJ and Kyle to bed and then went downstairs to watch the end of a movie. We came back upstairs to check on the boys and found CJ sound asleep in the rocking chair curled up with a book. He moved his arm and it opened the book. Perfect picture! Boy after his momma's heart...to fall asleep reading a book. :-)

Kyle's First "Performance"

Kyle mostly cried through the entire performance because he didn't want to wear the pilgrim hat, but readily enjoyed the Thanksgiving feast afterwards. We have some fabulous decorations for our table made by Kyle at preschool including a placemat where Kyle dictated that he is thankful for gumballs.

A busy weekend

Well, we had to take the new chrysler mini van in to be fixed --- under warranty of course. The cup holder broke and the sealant on the windows was off. It took them three hours to do it and so we had to entertain two little boys for three hours...not an easy task. We ended up going to the Frisco Toys R Us that has an indoor playground. While John watched the boys, I did some scouring for ideas for Christmas. Lots of toys ....wow!

John is still looking for a new employer. So far, not much luck although he has sent his resume to practically every company in North Texas who does GIS. Keep praying for him to find that perfect job. We keep hoping that something will happen soon especially with the Christmas holidays coming up.

Advice for my siblings....put away money into savings as soon as you can in case this happens to you. Layoffs seem to be running in our family right now...John, Dad....possibly the Russells.... sigh.....
