John's Got a JOB! YAY!

After three months of worry and stress looking for a job, John will begin work on January 9th with Navteq --- a computer cartography company. It is an entry level GIS job -- in other words a career start in the field he went to college for! He will be in the field doing the actual mapping and then taking the data back and creating the maps for GPS systems and map companies that are clients of Navteq.

The company will start out by sending him to Las Vegas to a convention and then he will have three weeks of training in either North Dakota, California or Chicago.

We are so excited!

Kyle's Preschool Christmas Performance

Kyle wore his antler and sang Happy Birthday Jesus Cha cha cha and other Christmas songs. (His best friend Cade didn't wear his :-) Then, it was time for a book exchange and decorating Christmas cookies.

Santa Pictures Take 2

We were out at Collin Creek mall today just looking and the Santa line was short so.... Mom and Dad thought why not torture their kids again and make them sit with Santa. This time we see both faces...so it is improvement. :-)

Santa Visit this year

Today was Awana Day at Six Flags Holiday in the Park and as part of the festivities, we could get our picture taken with Santa. Kyle did wonderfully...smiled and told Santa everything he wanted for Christmas and about all the rides he was going on...CJ just sat there with his fingers in his mouth looking down. I think he was in shock that I handed him off to a stranger and froze. Anyway much better than the screaming from last year!
