Kyle and CJ got matching twin beds for their birthday --- set up and ready to go about 2 weeks early (but who's counting?)
Anyway, John and I got them at IKEA --- they are a special bed that has the cute canopy attached. What is neat about the bed is that it can be like the picture below or...when they are older, we can literally flip the bed top to bottom and it turns into a loft bed. You dont' have to take anything apart. You just take off the mattress. Pick up the bed, turn it over and then put the mattress back on. Right now, the boys have ladders to nowhere but they think they are fun anyway! What makes it an even better deal is that the beds were only 300.00 -- together both of them!...gotta love IKEA!
The boys had fun this evening...wrestling before bed just like Daddy and Grandpa used to do!

Preschool began today with Donuts with Dad. Here is Kyle playing with his best friend, Cade. Kyle made Dad a placemat, a valentine and a picture. (He made mom a valentine too!)
John sent Laura 2 dozen roses and chocolate to school delivered in front of her students, of course!
Kyle and CJ opened Valentines from Mom and Dad and Great Grandpa Potter. Great Grandpa also got them a movie! Yay!

Enjoy these Valentine cuties...especially the big one! (we never planned on Daddy being part of the Valentine pictures but CJ refused to be on the photographer's table without "Da")

Throw the football, Daddy. That's how it began --- the Mullen Superbowl (much better than last Sunday's!).
CJ loves to tackle. He doesn't care if you have the ball in your hand or not....he just loves knocking people down and climbing on them.

Kyle, on the other hand, is a quarterback in the making. His favorite part is throwing the football....not so much catching in return....just throwing it!

On Friday, we picked Daddy up from the airport or as Kyle calls it "Daddy's airplane job" and brought him home. Saturday and Sunday (when not watching the Superbowl) were spent with boys getting reaquainted with Daddy. Jumping on Daddy, feeding him carrots and tomatoes from the snack plate, shining flashlights in his eyes and playing ball, cars, trains and a lot of other things.
Here are Kyle and CJ examining the gifts Daddy brought back for them: Elmo book, two trains, a t-shirt and CANDY!
Here is CJ showing off his new train from the Chicago Museum of Science and Technology.
Here is Kyle after he managed to get a hold of both trains when CJ was distracted by the Elmo book. :-)
Yesterday I wasn't able to post because CJ caught the gastrointestinal virus that Kyle had. He was harder to take care of then Kyle because he wouldn't lie by himself but wanted to be held (no matter what mommy was doing).
Kyle relapsed today...but with sleep hopefully he will get better.
CJ on the other hand is ready to play and get into things.
