Kyle and CJ had to help Daddy paint Alyssa's room...especially after they had gone to Home Depot with him to pick out just the right color pink. (Mommy isn't walking as much these days...too swollen --- Alyssa is taking all the space she can!).
What a Great Job...Dad only has a few touch ups left to do...

I'll post birthday pictures and the boys' official five year old and three year olds pictures next...but here are the latest "major" events in our household.
March 25th --- We all went to Grapevine to Day Out with Thomas. We got to ride the big Thomas, get Thomas tatoos, see Bob the Builder and play in the Imagination Station. It was a lot of fun although the boys were not too sure about having their picture taken with Bob...for some reason he was a little scary in person. Kyle and CJ did like the Conductor's personal visit where their tickets were punched just like in Polar Express. CJ got upset when the conductor took the ticket...he was afraid that he wouldn't get it back. Everything turned out okay though.

March 27th -- Uncle Jonathan brought back "Fivel" hats from Siberia (see....American Tail movie) where he went on his karate exhibition trip. Both Kyle and CJ think they are cool dudes now!

March 29th --- Spring Sing and Open House at preschool.
Kyle and his classmates put on the Spring show with six songs --- one even in Spanish. He was very serious about the show and concentrated very hard to get all the motions and words right. In typical Kyle fashion, he even told the kids around him how to do it "just right". We have it all on video!
Then we went around to the classrooms to see the art projects the boys have done this quarter. Very artistic young men. CJ painted a masterpiece he titled "Christopher James" and Kyle drew giraffes, cows and tigers for the "zoo". Kyle is learning to spell words and write all his letters and numbers. He also knows more Spanish than mommy!

March 31st --- Dad took the boys kite flying. With nice 70 degree weather and a light wind...it was perfect.

Kyle and CJ were very excited about going to see spiderman. When we found him, Kyle and CJ both grinned very big and were their typical "shy" about something neat and new. Then Kyle whispered to me, "Mom, I think that's a costume." Giggle. So I told him, "Of course it is...spiderman always wears a costume so no one will know his secret identity." I don't think he believed me.
Then it was time to take a picture.
CJ was a little shy about the whole thing and so Mom got to be int he picture too....
