Alyssa is Six Weeks Old!
Alyssa is getting bigger every day... she can now lift her head at a 45 degree angle for brief periods of time.

Super DAD
John had a great father's day --- steak lunch and seafood dinner...what could be better? He got a t shirt with his kids footprints on it and a pair of shorts and of course a card from each one of us.

Tracking John on his way back to us.
The kids and I have been tracking Daddy on his way home from Puerto Rico to us. Every now and then Kyle or CJ will say, "Where is Dad?" and I'll show them on the computer. We are all eager to see him!

Here he is close to Florida --- halfway home.
As the boys were going to bed....Daddy was over the Gulf of Mexico. Mom will keep tracking him :-)
John is now over Louisanna...only about an hour of flight time left.
And John is home....only a little bit more and he'll walk in our door. YAY!
Mornings are just better with donuts!
It is pouring rain today...again....
but the boys had a great morning anyway --- sprinkle donuts!
To make things even better, Daddy is on his way home to us tonight.
We can't wait!

What a difference a Month makes
Alyssa is one month old today. Here she is in her princess chair and a newborn size dress (we've finally gotten big enough to move from preemie to newborn sizes. They are still a little big but not that noticeably so).

Wednesday Smiles with Sister
Good morning Daddy...we were up early this morning, ready to play and watch the garbage trucks come and empty our trash. In fact, after we helped sister by putting our stuffed animals in her face, we went upstairs and played garbage truck. We picked up all our toys and threw them into the "garbage truck" AKA the hamper. Despite all the fun we are having, we miss you and talk about you all the time. We are ready to see you Saturday!

John goes to Puerto Rico
I've been tracking his flight to Miami -- it is kind of neat really to be able to follow the little plane as his bigger version goes on its way.
He'll be in Miami for a layover and then head to Puerto Rico for the NAVTEQ business meeting. We miss him already!
John landed safely in Miami --- I got to talk to him on the cell during his layover. Now he and his office crew are headed to SanJuan.
I'm tracking him again :-)
Still tracking John :-)He's over the ocean now.
And I've followed him all the way there via computer.
John arrives a little later than planned in Puerto Rico --- probably headed to pick up his bags from the bag return and then off to the resort.

Gift from Mom's cousin Sarah and Aunt Sharon
Sarah made a little hat and booties for Alyssa....just her size too.
Aunt Sharon's hat and blanket are the perfect shade of pink. Both handmade gifts are perfect "girlie" touches for Mom's girlie girl. :-)

A finished bathroom!
John is getting really good at this.....the upstairs bathroom is finished. New flooring, fixed and removed wall, new paint, wallpaper and shower curtain. There is a lot more room and it looks perfect!
