Kyle is 6!

We had Kyle's Sixth birthday at Gattitown in Frisco and then came home to a dinosaur birthday party. We got to watch Ratatouille while eating our pizza buffet. Kyle told everyone he would eat 65 pieces of pizza and drink 50 drinks. He came awfully close. :-)

We then went to play in the game section. Kyle tried all the games from racing cars to bowling to skee ball to ticket winners. He had a lot of fun. Uncle Jonathan and Grandpa worked to earn mega tickets so that Kyle and CJ could go shopping afterwards.

CJ and Kyle got to spend 1543 tickets in the prize store. LOTS OF FUN!

Kyle loved his big, grown up party!

Afterwards, we came back to the house for cake and presents and Kyle made out with transformers, flashlights, helicoptors that fly, teenage mutant ninja turtles, books, clothes and dinosaurs. He managed to make it through his pile of presents without spraining anything. :-)

Kyle says he is old now --- at 46 inches tall and weighing 47 pounds --- he is quite the figure of a big school age boy. Sigh..... he grew up too fast!

Pictures coming soon.....

Alyssa is 10 months old!

At 10 months, Alyssa is finally moving...she can scoot backwards in a circle which makes her mad but at least we are closer to a crawl! She also takes tenative steps forward when Mommy or Daddy holds her hand.

She is eating dry cereal, hot dogs, and yogurt off the big people menu but still REFUSES to eat meat baby food or the cereal you mix with milk to make the paste. This child likes TASTE.

She is a fruit and vegetable addict!

Alyssa makes all sorts of babbling sounds --- dadadada and bababababa and tries to have conversations with her brothers --- although they are usually not as quick to reply so she has to yell at them (or rather shriek in a high pitched shriek).

She is getting bigger --- stretching into size 12 month clothes but fitting comfortably into the 9 month sizes. She has a size 3 foot as well. Long and skinny...that's our girl!
