This trip, we stayed at Treasure Island, where we stayed on our honeymoon, and spent our time walking to places we remembered from trips past and our wedding. It is hard to believe it has been ten years! We had one of the newly refurbished rooms --- with the newest interior decorating.

But we spent most of our time at the Excalibur, the malls and the Mirage.
In the shops of the Excalibur, we found a new dragon that hadn't been there before. Here is Sir John and the Dragon!

While we were at Excalibur, we mentioned to one of the hosts that it was our tenth anniversary and that we had been married at the Excalibur. He gave us a free dinner! (Just like high rollers get)

One of my favorite places....the Forum Shops at Caesar's --- lots of great stores...although John doesn't enjoy shopping for clothes and shoes quite as much as I do. :-) Not that he complains...just wishes for more electronics stores.

For our anniversary dinner, we went to Kokomo's at the Mirage. It is a steak and seafood restaurant in the middle of an indoor garden with waterfalls and foliage. It is beautiful and tranquil.

Kyle was chosen to recite "S" from the Sparks Code on the stage at the beginning of the ceremony. He did a great job! Even though he was the first to speak, he didn't hestitate. What a boy!

Kyle then walked across the stage to receive his first book ribbon, his pin for doing the extra memory packet and his medallion for being one of the clubbers who finished everything you could finish in Knd.
CJ couldn't let Kyle have all the fun, so he hopped on stage after the ceremony and danced for Daddy.

CJ proudly walked across the stage last night to get his award for his first year in Cubbies. He wouldn't shake hands with any of the leaders or directors but he saved several shy smiles for mom and dad, of course! We are proud of our little Christopher James!
I took off work to go to Muffins with Mom at CJ's preschool. He loved having mom's attention on a weekday in the morning! I got a crown, a little handmade placemat and a profile of CJ. We had muffins, fruit and orange juice and CJ served Mommy breakfast. Alyssa helped too --- she even ate a whole muffin herself and tried an orange slice. CJ "sang" a mommy song with his class so to speak. He really just wanted to be in my lap not in front of the classroom singing. We were a little sad when it was time for Mommy to go but I promised to be there when school was over so that made it better.

We had Alyssa take her one year pictures at the mall this weekend. I told her it was her model shoot. So....the little model threw blocks at the photographer....oh well....

Looking innocent and cute for her close up.

She wanted to take the tops off of all the presents and succeeded in getting the smallest one off.

Alyssa with all the sizes of presents.

Then we had a costume change, and in her casual look, she "played" in the park.
