Wow......what a quick start to the school year
Is the summer really over? I can't believe it flew by so fast. I hardly had time to think about it, much less post!
John's Birthday --- August 27th
John got a Wii for his birthday which was immediately claimed by the boys. Here I caught them playing Mario Cart and Alyssa thinking she was playing (holding a remote to another game).
All three of them also loved the card that Daddy got from Aunt Emmie. It played music --- a pirate card.
CJ was very excited about his card to Daddy and his present to him of a football and wall racer cars. Just what Daddy wanted.
Alyssa is getting bigger and braver. She walks confidently now, throws her brothers' toys and refuses to let anyone feed her. She can do it HERSELF!
Of course, it is hard to keep applesauce on a spoon....
so sometimes it is easier to just lick the bowl.
Kyle's first day of First Grade
Kyle eagerly ran to school the first day, August 25th --- to his new class and his new teacher, Mrs. Zink.
He told Dad that he could walk by himself --- it is what all grown up first graders do!
So, Dad let him walk through the doors and down the hall... all by HIMSELF.
