I have made 5 chocolate heavens. That's a lot. Took a little more than an hour to bake all 5 crusts alone. Technically two aren't finished, but that is b/c I need to go and buy more whipped cream for the top layer, and that takes less than a minute to put on. I delivered two of my chocolate heavens last night to teh LAN and teh apartment. It seems people may, though not completely sure on that ~_^, be enjoying them.
I'm about to take a shower and then head to work to try and fix a few things on the day before I head back up to OSU. I might drag my dad along with me so he can buy my books for me ^_^ Hmmm... I just made Chocolate Heaven for my house too, but my dad is going to be the only one around to eat it, that could be bad. Maybe I'll have him take some up to his work or something.
Oh yeah, so I delivered Chocolate Heaven, right? Well when I went to teh apartment, I knocked on the door and then opened it, and walked right in to what seemed to be nobody home. After a little bit of searching I found that Brad and Jackie were actually there, but asleep. I was going to call Tina or Adam and see where they were, but I was pretty tired, so I left the lovely present in their refridgerator with a note and headed out. It ends up they were downstairs doing laundry. Oh well, maybe I'll call next time. On a side note, they should probably lock their door when they leave, so as not to let crazy people walk into their apartment.
Alright, shower tyme, work tyme, pack some stuff tyme, sleep tyme, drive to OSU tyme.
TUMEO.
Hooray for Chocolate Heaven!

Posted by: thejayjay at January 8, 2004 06:41 PMWoo hoo i finally get to try this famous choclate heaven madness. i am excited.
People were home! And calling BEFORE coming over would be in order, seeing as how it is a home and not a LAN.
Posted by: Tina at January 8, 2004 08:54 PMI lock the door at my house when I'm asleep. Also, you told me to try opening the door before knocking, so I guess I'm cooler than JP. Also locking would be important because Brad's car has already been broken into.

Posted by: JP at January 9, 2004 02:30 AMBut, Erik, the difference here is that you called before you came over, so we were there and expecting you. We had no idea JP was coming over, and thusly we were not home. Plus, Brad came in after we left, I think, so he should've locked the door if he wanted it locked while he was asleep.
Posted by: Tina at January 9, 2004 12:02 PMBah, posting a comment a few minutes before I posted a new entry, BAH I saw.
and BAH to calling, I posted on my weblog that I would be making said Chocolate Heaven and bringing it over, so you should have been waiting the entire time for me!!! that or left a note, yeah... that's it....
