Several of you already know this from seeing me online and such, but the internet is working up at OSU... for now. When I first plugged it in, it wasn't working, and I was getting ready to go crazy, but after some milking of ipconfig it finally came up. I woke up this morning to "pc-cillin has found blahblahblah worm and was unable to clean it. It is quarantined". I was like, what?!?!?!?! Then I realized I needed to unshare the folders that I had shared over at teh LAN, then deleted the viruses and worms that had transfered over.
Hopefully my friends that are not up at OSU and have website/weblogs will update them now, as I'm not there to know what's going on in their lives! My dad was overjoyed when we went and bought the books, I thought it wasn't THAT bad, I mean, only 400 bucks. So far, the only thing I seem to have forgotten is printer paper, which I will probably need at some point during the next week, so I shall either be driving home, or going to the bookstore on campus and buying paper on the bursar (more money my dad gets to pay) account... that, or I could go to a computer lab and "print" a couple of blank pages (like 20) and let that last me until Thursday.
My sister, Emily, is now engaged. It's a lovely ring, and she is happy. The cats, not sure which one (most likely Princess), have figured out how to open the cabinet doors above the washer and dryer where the food and treats are for them. One of them dragged the treats bag down and chewed into it. A rubberband now acts as the lock to keep them out.
Here is a link that all of my family will probably want to download, as well as some of my friends if they haven't already. Remote Gallery allows you to simply drag and drop to upload multiple pictures to the gallery. It's very nice and easy, and even well learned computer folk like to use it.
Alright, I need to take a shower and then go find some food.
TUMEO.
Well it is nice to know that you are getting into your studying and classes so early :O)
Posted by: Emily at January 10, 2004 11:43 PMHooray for stealing paper. You pay for it with your tuition anyways.
Posted by: HardwareGuy at January 11, 2004 01:43 AMYeah, it's gotta be Princess. That little cat is devious.
