Night Before Russia '07

Well, I'm sitting here, updating my blog instead of finishing packing. Why you ask... because I'm a procrastinator to the very end. See, I could be NOT wasting my time, but no, that's not nearly as fun as whittling away at my sleep instead. Though, I will have 15 hours of flight time from New York to Seoul, Korea (25 "actual hours", yay time zones), and then, apparently, another 12 hours flight from there to Russia, and THEN 15 hour train ride. So in theory, I will have plenty of catch up sleep time if I do lose a lot tonight.

I know the team will need all the prayers we can get while we are over there, we have already been attacked before even setting out. It seems Satan really doesn't want us to go. A week ago, the third member going to Russia, and the newest member of the Combat Team, was doing a kick and landed on his foot wrong hurting his ankle. He has had some other issues come up as well, all attempts to stop him from going to Russia. Yesterday (Tuesday), Brian seems to have gotten a sort of stomach/flu bug, and has been having a tough time. Lots of things seem to be trying to stop us, which tells me that God has some great things planned over in Russia, and I can't wait to see what it is. I know I'll be freezing, but I know it will be even more rewarding.

I'll probably call most of my family before I leave tomorrow, but in case I don't talk to others, I'll see peeps when I get back from Russia on Saturday, the 24th.

    TUMEO.

P.S. - Booya, score for playing video games and being a better Surgeon. (thanks to Wes for that link). You reading that Emily, maybe you should get Trauma Center, or hope they come out with a Nurse game so you can get your skills on!!! Hehehe...
