Today we celebrated my parents' birthdays, with my dad turning 60 on the 4th and my mom turning 59 on the 8th. We had Pei Wei and then some cake, and then Dad, Mom, Jennifer, Rene, Emily and I played Scattergories. A few things I'd like to point out, for one, mucus is a color, thank you very much. Also, if there is a tie in a vote against a challenge, then the word is discarded and does not count. It was fun though!!
So, a lot has been going on. October has started, and that means I know have a base salary while teaching karate. I will supplement that salary with private lessons. The apartment is pretty good, and I've gotten rid of most of the lingering cigarette smoke, and after I use the carpet cleaning machine of mother's, it will mostly be gone. I'm also going to use febreeze on the walls. It's not too noticeable as it is, after I've used air sanitizers in the air ducts and aired out the apartment a lot.
Still have a lot of organizing to do in my apartment, as I have been quite lazy. Not much else that's coming to mind at this moment, but I did find these links interesting:

uh yeah about the mucus and fungi thing you could have left that out... i clicked on the links out of morbid curiosity and will have nightmares for the rest of the week. YUCK!! ;)
