Classes

Another day of classes, one day closer to winter break. Not too much today, went to classes, played some ping pong, did some homework, did some reading.

Well, now I'll... do something, I dunno, anyways, yeah.

Oh, my tooth cracked b/c my dentist sucks, same thing happened with another filling he did, it popped out after like a week. I was eating soft food even, it was a sandwich, so there.

Tooth

So, that tooth that I chipped way back when, well, the stuff my dentist put over it cracked yesterday or last night, or something, so part of it is lose now, and I could probably break it off. While eating lunch today, I thought I had gotten some food stuck between my teeth, but the reason it felt so weird was b/c half of the hard white stuff they used to "fill in" my chipped tooth was pushed forward a few millimeters. I pushed it backwards so it feels fine now, but of course I have the problem that it is loose now. I guess I'll need to take care of that next time I'm in town or something. I remember biting down on something the other day and I was worried about the tooth at that point, but it didn't seem like anything was wrong. And then last night I had a dream about it, so I might have done something while I slept, like grind my teeth or something.

Well anyways, about to start my second week of school, oh so much fun. Got some minor homework I'm about to get started on.

Zach, my roommate, did some cleaning today, he's got a bit of that clean streak in his system it seems, but not too bad, he was also spraying stuff down with disinfectant spray just in case after having strep throat.

Well, that's about all I have to say for now.

Hero

Well, it is Friday, the end of the first week of hel.... college classes. Hasn't been too bad, though I still have one more class before my week is offically over (wouldn't you know it would be technical writing).

Anyways, on to the title of this post. The movie, Hero, has opened today and I'm getting "teh gang" together to watch the 11:55AM showing on Saturday (tommorrow). So if I haven't gotten ahold of you yet, or someone else hasn't, read this and know about it. Looks like I just got done getting Nick to come down from norman, and I left a message with Pepe. Token, Adam, Joe, Erik, and myself so far are definatly going, and anyone else I have to go and get and drag to the theatre by their ear.

I'll be leaving right after the movie to head back to stillwater most likely. And, most likely, the awesome red headed Adam will follow me in his truck with my arcade (Rampage) in the bed of his truck. Be awesome having that up at my dorm. Kinda a long bumpy road to sillwater though, so going to have to think of how to pack it right. I'm sure my mom will be happy to have it not in the garage.

Well, I need to finish eating, get my stuff for technical writing, then head to class. I'll be heading for Tulsa between 3:30 and 5:30pm.

2nd day

It's the day after classes started. I don't have any classes on Tuesdays or Thursdays, which is very very nice. I relaxed most of the day (slept until about 1pm) until going over to some friends from work house off campus to identify the problem with them not getting internet. Problem was pretty simple, and I guessed it before heading over there. Basically, there were 2 cox cable outlets in the house, and one of the jacks the cable modem worked on and the other (the one they needed/wanted it to work on) didn't. The cox people only ran the special wires and such to that one jack, so they called them up and are having them do the work to the other jack.

Rest of the day was just bumming, then a floor meeting at 8:30, then a bit more bumming, watching tv, and then some ping pong with Zach, who is feeling a lot better. He ate more today than he has in the past 2~3 days combined.

Well, that's all to say for now, more bumming and then sleep.

First Day of Classes

All done with my classes for today. My last class (4:00pm to 5:15pm) was canceled, a nice note met me after my walk across campus to inform me of this fact. I only have this class on Mondays and Wednesdays too, oh well. My other 3 classes went well enough. Seems like I have decent teachers, 2 that seem alive. The third, my technical writer teacher, was either slightly nervous or just reading too much of what she had written to say. She seems like she will be ok though.

Finally meet the 4th roommate today. Haven't real talked to him much, so I guess he's nice. My roommate, Zach, is feeling a little better, but I suppose I should actually tell you what happened to him.

Zach wasn't feeling well on wednesday when he got in, at that time he thought it was because of the shot he got to prevent him from getting something or another and was having slight side effects from that. On Thursday he discovered, by looking with a flash light into the mirror, that it appeared like he had strep throat, so on Friday he went to the campus doctor people, ended up getting some medicine for it. He took that medicine, like he was suppose to. On Saturday he had to go to the emergency room because, even though he told the doctor that he was allergic to penicillin, the docotor gave him medicine with penicillin in it. That was fun for him. So he's been slowly recovering, his throat being pretty inflamed, so it is hard for him to swallow and stuff. The new medicine he got is giving him the side effects of wanting to throw-up, so even more funness there.

And for my sisters: yes, there were a few cute girls in my classes, and I did talk to one of them, but only because we had to form groups of 2 and find some facts and then present the other person to the rest of the class (for technical writing).

Starting the Drive

It's Thursday, and I'm back up at school which means my Thursday comute to work is here once again. About to take a shower, eat some food, and head to Tulsa. And looking out the window, it does not bode well for my return trip from Tulsa and subsquent search for a parking space. The parking lots are already COMPLETELY FILLED UP, and it happened this morning while I slept!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

My roommate is cool, and my suitemate is cool, I haven't met my other suite mate yet though, but I'm sure he is cool too. More food places will slowly be opening up, which has been the biggest thing that has sucked while I have been up here this week.

I went and played basketball last night. Man, my heart was wondering what in the heck I was doing, I'll tell you that. Full court basketball when I haven't worked out in like... a year? Shesh! I had fun though, I made one of like 3 shots I attempted, I haven't played basketball in too long!!

Well, I need to get moving, my stomach wants food, and my body a shower, then an hour and 20 minute drive ahead of me.

New Life

Up at Stillwater, all moved in and letting time pass slowly while I relax and settle in. First night on the bed was last night and it seems like a good one, no complaints really. Took a shower just a few minutes ago and it seems fine, so things are looking on the up and up.

Got a lot of things on my "To Do List" to get done today. I gotta turn in my forms for my room check and get my mail key and possibly go to Wal-Mart and pick up some meds that I left at home, yet again. My stomach seems to be handling things fine though, so I'll see how long I can hold out. I also have to figure out what's up with my meal plan, as I went to buy some food, and I only had 1.96 on my account.......

I've started a list of all the things I forgot, a bunch of minor things, but I'll pick them all up on Thursday. My suitemate is a pretty cool guy, met him when I moved things up a week ago. Haven't met my 2nd suite mate yet, he's still at home between his summer session and the fall one.

Other than that, everything seems quite on the home front, or something, yeah, I'm going to go eat some food now.

Friday the 13th

It is Friday the 13th, though it certainly hasn't seemed spooky or ominous. It wasn't too busy at work tonight, though it sorta felt it, mainly because of staffing levels. We were short a box person for the start of the round because she was involved in a minor car wreck on the edge of our parking lot as she was pulling in to head to the back of the theatre. Nothing major, no one was hurt, just the other person's car.

Part of the reason for the last round of the night being dead is most likely due to the opening cerimonies (horribly misspelled that I'm sure) in Athens, Greece for the 2004 Summer Olympics. What I got to see of it looked very well done. I had completly forgotten that it was about time for that to start up. It will be interesting to see how we do this Olypmics.

Tommorrow is packing day. I get to pack everything I can possibly think of that I will need for college and move it all downstairs so that everything will be ready to go on Sunday.

That's all for now, I just hope I don't have that much to move.

Slow down

It's slow down time for me, at least for working. I'm working today at 3:30pm, and tommorrow, then not again until Thursday. I've started my "school work schedule", which means I only work every Thursday, and every other Saturday. Only reason I'm working tommorrow is to work for another manager since he has a friends birthday or something to go to. And tommorrow is Friday the 13th!!! Fun times.

Last night we ended up throwing a suprise party thingy for Erik. We tricked him by having him come and give Token's care a jump, even though it didn't need it. This was at midnight. Then we all ran out of the building when he got to the theatre to give Token (oh, Token is my friend James) the jump. I setup a special midnight thirty showing of The Bourne Supremacy for him. Then we headed to the apartment (I was later on gettng there b/c I had to re-thread the projector and turn off the projectors that were left on) and he opened his gifts and had some cake. It was fun times, especially since we planned it at about 9pm, 3 hours before it happened.

I'll have Saturday to pack up all of the things I'll need to be taking with me to Stillwater and then start living there. I'll be heading up on Sunday with my parents. This way they can buy me some food before they leave and my books as well.

That's all I can think of for now, have a good day everyone.

College Soon

Once again, it's been a long time since I've updated. Been kinda busy, working a lot before I go back Oklahoma State University in Stillwater so I can have some money saved up. Yesterday I ran up to Stillwater and dropped off a bunch of big things, namely my refridgerator, television, computer (that huge monitor), some bedding and my printers as well as a few misc. items.

I went up with Zach, my roommate. We got our keys and parking permits. The room is pretty nice, I have some pictures that I *should* be uploading at some point, I got a lot of clean up I need to do with my site, and a few others I suppose.

Right now I'm getting everything taken care of I need to before I head out to Stillwater to start living there on the 14th/15th. I called CITI bank because a credit report said I had 3 cards with them. Sure enough, I had 3 completely seperate and unique credit cards, 2 with a 600 credit limit and one with a 3000 credit limit. I got that all squared away, I mean, as much fun as having that much credit available is.... Now I'm figuring out all the things which I need for school. I'm about to head out with my mom to do some shopping (may the Lord help me... shopping, ugggg), there are a few items I need, and I need to write out some other things that I can think of.

Got my haircut today, that was fun. On my way back from getting my haircut, a boy was riding down the street on his bike, he was on the wrong side so I just moved to the left so he could ride by me, and as he did, he flicked me off, for no apparent reason. Kids these days, I wonder if he really even knows what it means to flick someone off, or if he was doing it just because he has seen it on movies, kinda amusing and sad at the same time, he was probably 8 to 12 would be my guess.

Jay is back in Canada once again. His brother is fine now, and he is recovering from jet lag, though I'm sure he is fine by now.

Well, I'm off to do some shopping I guess.
