Weekend minus Travel

First weekend since classes started that I will actually be staying at my dorm. I wish I could say that I will be a bum all weekend, but I have a group project to work on as well as a test on monday. At least I don't have to drive.

My father appears to have gotten pneumonia, he's got medicine and is ordered to rest. My sister is down to another wedding and my mom is down with her grandchildren. My sister's mother-in-law had a heart attack, so my mom went down a little early. She will be coming up with my two nephews on tuesday to the house and keeping them for a week while my sister and brother-in-law go on their anniversary to Las Vegas.

My roomie, Zach, had his special society in ROTC event where he went through "worse than boot camp" stuff, like running up every single flight of stairs on campus and other fun things. He came in late last night, and pretty tired.

I got all my new case fans put in, and it's running like a charm. There's the lovely rainbow of lights that now comes out of the back of my case, but it didn't bother me at night like I thought it might. Anyways, my case is definatly cooler now, couldn't tell you how much, but the outside of the case isn't near as hot as it used to be, in fact it's not hot at all.

That's all I can think of for now, study a little play some games, then study some more.

End of 4th Week

Umm... hi. So I talked to Mauri, I mean, Scoots, yesterday. The crazy fool finally messaged me on AIM. He's graduated, back in may, however, none of you would probably guess what he is doing now. He's doing more schooling, but it's law school in Miami. Never pictured Scoots as a lawyer myself. He's going to St. Thomas Law School.

Not too much else exciting to talk about, about to put my computer into my new case, then head down to Tulsa for work on Saturday and washing of my clothes.

22 now

My birthday has come and gone, and I'm now 22. I had fun on the day before my birthday (that's the day I decided to celebrate it on since I'd be heading back to Stillwater on my actual birthday). I worked during the first part of the day, and my sister came up and docorated my car. I'll probably will clean it on Thursday when I come down for work. We went and ate at Abuelos then played minature golf. Here's a picture of my family and I:

From minature golf, we headed to Tippins and picked up a pie in lieu of a birthday cake. Then I opened my presents. I got two presents that will be arriving at a later date; those being the FFXI expansion that comes out the 21st and a new computer case that came in yesterday, but I won't pick up until tomorrow. I also got a dvd, The Bourne Identity, a shot glass, a much needed shot glass display case (I have about 35 shot glasses now, only 25 could fit in the single case I had before), a hot wheels ferrari car, a skillet and spatchala for cooking while at college, a thingy to hang on my monitor, and some other things I can't think of because my brain is fried from classes.

On Sunday, I went to church and Erik called me, so after church we went and ate at the Pizza Shoppe. Erik gave me a dvd, Resident Evil and a cool laptop thingy, here are a few pictures of it:

Last night was annoying, OSU decided to work on the network (I guess) because the internet went off and on about 5 times last night (at least while I was awake) and stayed off for 5~20 minutes each time. I had finally gotten on FFXI and decided to party (haven't been on since Friday) and managed to get a party. We were about to start fighting whent he internet first went out. It was really annoying.

    That's all for now.

Birthday too soon

My birthday always seems to crawl up on me, then hit me upside the head saying, where's your wish list? I always think ahead that I need to make a list, but never get around to it until less than 2 weeks before. I got my list e-mailed to Mom, took me awhile to come up with things, there isn't that much I actually want, biggest things I guess are FFXI expanison and finally remembered I'd been wanting a new computer case. I e-mailed a bunch of dvds I thought I'd like, so if you need to know something I want, then ask Mom.

Since Tina asked in the comments what I might want, something I left off from my list was Samurai Jack, anything and everything related to him would be cool, I have the movie (basically the 1st 3 episodes), but that's about it. Even a burned copy with the seasons on it would be cool. I still like shot glasses, and sharp pointy things are always a plus.

I'll be heading home this weekend to celebrate my birthday, I also got suckered into working Saturday 10am to 4pm since Rob is out of town, oh well, couple extra bucks from that. Not sure what all I'll do for my birthday, I know I'll eat out with my fam, maybe go out and do some minutare golf. I know Adam's birthday is coming up soon too, unless I'm confused, so as far as my friends go, maybe we could throw a joint party or something, go hang out at funhouse or something...

Well, time to get some sleep, got a meeting with a group for our project at noon then head off to work.

Blarg'ity Blarg Blarg

Bah, I kept meaning to update since Septemeber 1st, but kept forgetting after it was too late. Oh well, I'll post now.

Septemeber 1st marked the 35th year that my parents have been married. My dad got my mom some nice earrings.

In other news, I'll be turning 22 on the 12th of this month, and that is pretty crazy. I keep forgetting about it, because I need to make a list of things I want that my family can get me... I can't really think of that much that I actually want though. I'll make a big list of DVDs I think, besides of course, a pre-order of FFXI Chains of Promathia.

Memorial Day weekend is dead at the movie theatre right now, it might pick up later on in the weekend, today there's a bunch of college football games (TU and OU), so that is part of the reason it is dead.

All right, back to the grindstone.
