Party in the House!!!

If you are my parents, or family that would tell my parents things, you MUST stop reading right now!!

The parents are out of the house, time to party. That's right, I've got an empty house. Bring over the kegs and babes!!!!! (hehe... just kidding... or AM I???)

So Father and Grandfather left this morning around 8am to head to Texas. Hopefully things will go as they should, and the house will be closed on Friday. If the final walk through today goes good, that is. IF that happens, I'll probably be making a trip down to Texas on Friday so I can help make sure the network is ok, and check out the house. Luckily (for me) I have to be back up in Tulsa on Saturday, so I won't be able to help move stuff into the new house or unpack. I'm so sad about that!!!

I might take pictures later of how I have the house setup, not much to take pictures of though. I really like how I have my computer setup though, it's a nice little nitch.

Something else weird, that I noticed with Firefox's spell checker.. if I type in "okay", it thinks that's a misspelled word, kinda ironic. I suppose hardly anyone spells it like that now, but still.

    That's all for now.

SNOW and Dad Sleeping

Wow, did it snow yesterday, and a lot. The bigger problem was all the wind and the large snow drifts that it created here in Tulsa. Of course, with the snow is the strange urge for people to risk their lives to go to the movie theatre just because they don't have to go to work/school. I work last night, and the snow decided to really come down.

On the way out, I decided to go one path, and it was not the right one to take at all. The snow was built up just a bit too high for my short little car. I literally dug myself out 3 times, the last time managing to get within about 2 feet of low ground that I could drive out on. I was exhausted by this point. The bottom half of my pants were ice, and so was my hair. I went inside the theatre and thawed out some while I called my dad and had him come down. With his help, we managed to push it back just enough, and then I made it the rest of the way home. Here's a picture after I pulled into the drive way, you can see how high the snow is just on the drive way, and it was higher in several parts of the parking lot at work.

As most of you know, the house is pretty sparse at the moment. I decided to take pictures of what my father is sleeping on. Some of you might recall that small cot I have.

And that's about it for now. Roads are going to get bad here tonight, but I don't have to go to work until Tomorrow evening, so hopefully I won't have much to worry about besides other drivers.
