Job interview

Friday I saw a job posting on the school employment page from Custom House Foreign Exchange Currency... so I thought I drop off my resume, I mean why not?... it pays $10/hr. I dropped off the resume today and unexpectedly the manager was there and asked me some questions. We talked and she said she'll be giving me a call on Monday for an interview. Toward the end she asked me if I have any experience with currency exchange... I replied "umm, I have traveled quite a bit last few years so sure, I have carried foreign currency..." She then smiled... I hope she calls me Monday.

I'm desperate to find a full time job because for the first time I will have to pay for my tuition in September. Tuition will be going up another 40% in the fall, that's 80% (no exageration!!) the past 3 years ever since Gordon Campbell took over office, making SFU one of the most expensive schools in the country. >.< This is why I decided to take one summer course before tuition goes up. It will be from May til mid-June

Gonna go try to study again....

Personally, I blame the institutions for the prices. Why should post secondary cost that much? What exactly do they do that warrants us paying them those exorbinant fees? Nothing, I say!
