So I'm gonna attempt something I've never done before... update this blog in two languages: English and Mandarin.

I've been thinking about doing it in Chinese but never really got around to it. The reason why I'm writing in Mandarin now is because I can let my relatives in Taiwan know what's going on with the family here and second, to prevent me from forgetting everything I have learned the last 2 years. If I forget it, that would be a waste of tuition money and the effort I've put in. I've already forgotten how to speak Thai (I was real fluent when I lived in Thailand) and Hakka, a popular dialect found in Taiwan, China, and Singapore. So if I forget Mandarin... let's not even go there.

My mom's friend just helped me construct an email in Chinese to my uncle in Taiwan, informing him about this site and how to leave comments and etc. Since its all in English my relatives probably wouldn't have known how to do this.

I'm still not at all fluent, so we'll see how long I can keep this up till I get frustrated and quit??

在这里别的皂片是我在美国认识得很好的朋友和他的家人。 我五年级在德州就认识的。 我们互相都很受。 平常每年都有回美国去看他们。 他们把我当成是自己的家庭人。
