a plethora of jobs

Yippy!!!! Finally got the boring workshops out of the way today, giving me for the first time access to the databank with all the jobs. There was quite a bit, but mostly reserved for the biology and chemistry students...

However, I did find 2 jobs that interested me. One with Environment Canada, the other one with Citizenship and Immigration Canada in Ottawa. The only bad thing is application deadline is due June 2nd for the immigration job... I still have to get my coordinator to look over my resume and cover letter before I can apply, I'm running out of time!! The Environment Canada job is perfectly suited for my major, while the immigration job would be perfect for my Asia-Canada minor. So not sure which one I should choose. If I get the immigration job, I would also have to relocate to the nation's capital. Umm, that would mean living there in the winter from September to December..... living in igloos and hunting whales for food.

So I really don't have much time and still have to get coordinator to look over everything..... why does time always work against me? Timing is just so off.... I also found out today that I have to attend a workshop (Transition to Workplace) on Aug 13th, so that cuts into my travel plans for the entire month. Grrrrr....

Igloos and whales!!! send me some blubber!

Good luck with resume writing and getting it approved. sounds to me like you should do the job that goes with your major not your minor.

Nice Jay :) Hope you enjoy that.

Your chinese text shoes up as little boxes for me :P

You need to download the language to be able to view it Jason. Usually it gives you the option when you go to a page that has the language on it, but I don't think it does when it's not the main language.

The languages were installed auto-matically when I installed Microsoft Office I believe. If I find a link for you, I'll post it.
