Off to Halifax for Christmas

I will be catching the 3pm ferry to Vancouver today, where I will have Christmas dinner with my family Saturday night. Then Sunday morning Andrea and I will be flying out to Halifax, Nova Scotia to spend Christmas with her family and fly back January 1st.

This should be interesting, excited and nervous at the same time. She's got a pretty big family - 2 sisters and 3 brothers - and they will be joining us from Victoria (the one I live with), Phoenix and Richmond, Virginia. One of Andrea's brother-in-law is also an ex-US Special Forces and served with the Rangers... he has made ominous statements by saying he will give me a "hard time". What else do you expect from Americans? (Just kidding! He's half Canadian & half American.)

Anyways, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I will try to post some pictures while in Halifax.

Have fun while you're on vacation. Be careful of the half man, half pig, half bear. Talk to you next year.
