Bye Bye Everyone

Well this will be my last entry as I will be leaving for the airport in about 7 hours... I'll be flying to Taiwan first for about 2-3 days and then leave for Thailand and that's when the fun begins...

I won't be updating on this blog till I get back, which should be around August 15th. However, I will send emails and keep everyone updated... just like what I did last year. I dont think I have Laura and Jen's email addresses... so if you want, give me your email and I'll make sure to add you to the list.

Bangkok to Siem Reap

As you know I will be flying to Bangkok and going to Siem Reap, Cambodia overland... I'm still not sure on how to do this section of the trip... I have two options:

1) Go with the minibus offered by many of the travel agencies near my guesthouse in Bangkok.... (these travel agencies will scam you)

2) Go to the Bangkok bus station and get to Cambodia on my own.

I've gone into the Lonely Planet travel forum to get inputs from travellers who are now there or travellers that have had the experience... most of them say take the bus and go to Cambodia on my own. They also gave me the link to this cool Tales of Asia site which gives me very clear instructions on what's the best way to get there.

Then there's the Cambodian "highways from hell"... a story I will tell when I finally see it for myself (I'm a nonbeliever at the moment).

Vancouver Aquarium 温哥华水族馆

This week Joey and I went to the Vancuover Aquarium for the day and took quite a few pictures. I've posted some in the gallery...
