As for my announcement... I am applying to Carleton University's Public Policy Program in Ottawa. Specifically, this will be for the Innovation, Science and Environment Concentration, where I can study energy and environmental policies for my Masters.
I'm pretty excited... my letter is now being reviewed by my professor. And if I do get accepted... I am moving to OTTAWA, the national capital. My intention is to stay there after school, so this may be a permanent move... Andrea will also be joining me as I open a new chapter in my life in a new city. I won't write too much since I still have to wait for the acceptance letter.
I am also applying to the Public Policy Program at SFU, but not as keen on it.
My apologies for not updating in soo long. I mean... after a few weeks of not posting, the mindset becomes how much longer can one go without updating. I keep telling myself it is time to post, but also tempted to see how long I can resist. So here's my reason and I'm sticking to it.
Anyways, October has been busy. First, my mom was in Taiwan for my grandpa's funeral. I was not able to go because could only take 1 day off for family emergency... shitty. Second, my article was published in the Mineral Exploration Magazine - first article in the magazine actually. Once a PDF copy becomes available I will post it. Third, it was also my birthday (same day as Thanksgiving) but of course my mom was in Taiwan so it was spent with brothers and Andrea. Fourth, my graduation also took place when mom was away. So... didn't feel like going to that and still waiting for my diploma in the mail.
So... what is this announcement that I alluded to in my title. I think I'm gonna take some time to sit on it before making final decision. It's really not as big as I made it out to be... but nonetheless took me good three weeks to make this decision considering the circumstances.
