I've just returned from nearly a week in Texas babysitting the boys while Laura and John go to work.John's grandmother had a heart attack and is still in the hospital. John's mother usually babysits the boys but now is spending all her time at the hospital. There are a few complications such as diabetes and general poor health.I'm back in Tulsa with the boys as Laura and John are going on a much needed vacation during Plano's October break.I'm getting into a routine of sorts with bottles, diaper changes, baby food, etc.The most difficult part is getting up at night with one or the other or both! Then there is the "potty" training which is hit or miss and mostly miss!!So, have a great week and remember me during your days and nights!!
The Wheels on the Bus go Round and Round...
These 3 Koi are about 3 years old and getting larger every year.We have 2 other smaller koi that Emily purchased this year, they swim by entirely to quickly to get a picture. The "pond" is a lot of work but we enjoy the fish and the waterfall and the plants.
This is one of my favorite roses from the backyard
Returned from Arkansas on Friday afternoon.Lots to do for my mother and thankfully, most of the items on the list were checked off.Driving the Chevy Silverado is always an experience on the narrow roads in Batesville.I discoved that you pay taxes not in the courthouse but in a small building beside the courthouse.I also was informed about all terrain tires as the truck needed two.So, on it went finding where to go to get whatever and back again....mom is doing great and her check up reveiled that she had gained weight since the last check up.I also managed to finally complete an outfit for Emma,my grand niece.Robert and I drove to McAlaster to teach anAWANA basic training for Sparks on Saturday.Today we are lazy and I'm a little tired.I've been checking out the yard and plants and pulling weeds here and there.Emily and I need to work in her room and get it completely back together after the paint job.Robert is off to Salt Lake tomorrow for several days. That's about all for now...
We had an enthusiastic round of minature golf on Saturday to celebrate Jonathan's 22nd birthday.....
This look is so fantastic that I just had to post......it was interesting to experiment with the color swirling and mixing to get a unique design.I think that Emily's idea to give her room a new feel worked out great!
Robert gave me these emerald earrings for our 35th wedding anniversary!!
