Finally a nice weekend
This has been a fantastic weekend with warm temperatures and sunshine!I do not like cold weather and am dreading the winter.We had Joan and David Tubbs visiting on Saturday night and Sunday morning.They are long time friends from Bakersfied, California.They became AWANA missionaries to parts of California after we left Bakersfied and are now missionaries to New Mexico.We caught up on years of events and our visit ended much too soon.Hope to see them again when we visit Lubbock from time to time.The leaves are falling and turning colors, the cool weather plants are flourishing and Robert is joyful that the grass has stopped growning.We have a busy week as always and will fill you in on the happenings as they occur
The westeria likes the cool temperatures and is flourishing.
Emily's parrots feathers are also enjoying the cool temperatures.
David and Joan Tubbs visited us over the weekend. We've first met in Bakersfield, California in 1983.They are AWANA missionary's to New Mexico and surrounding areas.
