It's been a wild several days as family has arrived day by day...Dad Potter, Robert, Emily, Jonathan and I celebrated Christmas with lots of presents, food and favorite movies.Laura, John, Kyle and CJ arrived the day after with more presents and lots of noise and activities...things were getting a little "out of control". To add fuel to the fire...Jennifer arrives and now we are totally into opening more presents, more fun and lots more noise. We shopped, watched more movies, more running, jumping and crawling from the boys.To top things off, Jennifer arranges to have the 4 children and grandchildren's picture made as her Christmas present to Robert and I....Lots more excitment!!! So we are all exhausted but have our presents and pictures and memories of yet another Christmas with family. Laura and family drove back to Texas today and Emily and Jennifer are at the movie theater and Jonathan is working .... all is calm so I can type in a few lines....I have lots of fabric to sew as soon as I can get my new sewing machine out of the box!!!Maybe tomorrow!!! Will try and post more pictures as soon as I figure out how to get into Emily's new file.....whatever!!!

Emily and I are back in Tulsa and resting. We were stationed at Laura's house for the past 6 days.Emily was checking on wedding stuff and getting engagement pictures made. While Kane and Emily were doing the poto shoot, Laura and family and I were exploring the Dallas Arboretum. We also celebrated Laura's birthday. We were shopping today and hope that we have everything needed for Christmas!!The house needs to be cleaned top to bottom and we plan to do that asap.Hope everyone is getting the Christmas spirit and getting the shopping finished!!!

The family got together over Thanksgiving and other than feasting and enjoying eachothers company.....we did manage to glue down all the many tiles to put in my new parquet flooring in the "dinning room". It was a lot of work and I'm so grateful to everyone who contributed to the effort! I have just returned from Batesville to help my mother get several projects completed. She is doing well though a little sad as Daddy passed away over Christmas last year.He has been missed and we all will remember his laughter and stories especially at this time of the year.Lots to do here in Tulsa and Emily and I are going like Mad to get the Christmas decorations up and presents bought and wrapped to finish our Christmas shopping.Thank goodness that Laura and I did most of our shopping over the Thanksgiving weekend...we were up at the crack of dawn to hit the stores and we DID. Got to go and will post when I get another minute.
My finished Parquet floor in the "dinning room" Thank all of you who helped get this lovely flooring down.....I'm so proud of my new floor!!!!!!

Emily was a huge help especially with the tight places....also John and Emily finished the corner that was proving impossible...Thanks!!
