Just returned from Arkansas---and snow.It is 72 here in Tulsa but looks like in the 20's on Thursday evening!Mother decided to have the 25 year old Tulip Popular tree cut down in the backyard as it has been steadily droping branches the past several winters. We also had a new basin put into the small bathroom.Mother also has a new perm and is looking good. Now I return to lots of work here in Tulsa and decisions to make concerning the new house and will begin sorting and pitching items that will not be moved!!!Got to get to clearing a path around here since the 3 men have been alone for 5 days!!!
I've just volunteered my last shift at SouthCrest Hospital.I found that I just don't have any spare time to devote to outside activities.Planning the house in McKinney, caring for Grandpa Potter and checking on my mother keeps me occupied 24/7.I spent this last weekend in McKinney picking out designs for the house and helping Laura with the boys.Of Course the bench trial that was suppose to happen with Emily was stressful enough and we will have to wait a week or so to get the judges decision.I have seen up close and personal the corruption rampant in the justice system. Hopefully,we will have good news in a week or so.....keep Emily in your prayers!I will be driving to Arkansas to check on my mother in a week, I'm sure she will have a list of things for me to do.Grandpa and I had an appointment to recheck the pressure in his eyes. It has dropped from 15 to 11, so the dr is pleased and we will continue the eye drops for glaucoma. We will visit his regular doctor on the 8th and maybe not have to see anyone for a week or so.The nurse aide comes twice a week and we have just added physical therapy twice a week so we stay busy around here.I would like to visit Jennifer and Rene sometime this month and just get away for a short while........we'll see!It is strange to think that I thought that the move to Tulsa would leave me with nothing to do...Ha!!! Will keep you informed...I'm going to sit down and READ for a few minutes and put my feet up!!!
