Swimming at Grandma's community pool

Laura took Kyle and CJ to the community pool. They had the entire pool to themselves for the hour and a half that they were there.

Kyle dogpaddled around the entire pool with his special swim suit that had floatie's in it. He was hot stuff!

CJ trapped Kyle in the stool after Kyle stuck his head under it...CJ wouldn't get up and decided to hide from Grandma by putting the block container on his head. :-)

A Week at Grandma Smith's

Four Generations of women

Laura, Jonthan, Kyle, CJ, Alyssa and I all drove down to Batesville last week to visit with Mother. We escaped all the rain in Texas and had a really good visit.

Laura and I helped out Mother by trimming all her shrubs and bushes in the front and back and hauling it to the street. Jonathan climbed up on her roof and cleaned out the gutters. Kyle and CJ got into the action and helped cut bushes too using scissors. They thought that they were hot stuff.

I had to climb on the shed and use a saw to cut down a limb that had fallen onto the shed. Quite an experience!
