While I have a minute......

I'm finally making myself sit down and write a few lines so that you will know that I am alive! I can't believe that months have passed and I find myself always busy and life around here is hectic. We have adjusted to Grandpa Potters absence but he is not forgotten and you catch yourself pausing and thinking about him from time to time. I also have developed somewhat of a schedule with the grandchildren. I leave the house at 6:45 Monday through Friday to get to Laura's before she leaves for work at the middle school. I get the boys up and moving by 7:30 and Kyle to Kindergarden by 8:20 and on Tuesday and Thursday, C J. to preschool by 9:00. Alyssa is up anywhere from 7 to 8 so that's another story with bottles, diapers, clothes etc. We are usually struggling to get out the door by 8:15........I pick Kyle up at 3:30 and drive back to my house. Of course, there is Karate and Awana----homework and Bible verses.....snacks and play. Laura, John, Robert, Rene and I joined a local fitness club and try and work out 3 to 4 times a week when we can. I actually enjoy working out and hope to get stronger and have more endurance if I can survive the process! Our family is still working in Kindergarden in Awana on Wednesday nights and looks like this year will be a fantastic experience for everyone. We are trying to get the house in order which is a problem with the hectic pace we keep around here.....Rene is trying to organize us and hasn't given up yet! Robert and I drove to Arkansas recently and enjoyed visiting with my mother and Leah and Micah and Lydia. We also have a new addition to the family as Sarah (my Niece) had a baby boy today....Owen Thomas Dudley....he arrive almost a month early but is holding his own in the neonatal unit. We hope and pray that he will get to go home soon....keep him in your prayers. Jennifer is keeping the oil burning at night preparing for her classes at Dallas Theological---she is still working at the church in the Kids Care program part-time. She isn't sure she can continue next fall but will see how things go----Emily and Kane have moved into the new house and are trying to decide where to put things and go through more stuff----always the "stuff". Jonathan is getting more students in his Karate school and seems to be doing better all the time. All the cats in all households are doing fine and wanting to go outside when the weather get warm and sunny. So that's about all the time I have. Hello to all and hope to update more frequently as time and energy permit....
