Day Four and everyone is exhuasted

Sunday ~~ a day to go to church, play, and cook outside!

Emily found this bubble maker and so the boys had fun running around killing bubbles that invaded the yard.

Alyssa looking cute in her sailor suit while sticking out her tongue (hey a multi tasked at such a young age). Grandma approved!

For Memorial Day we cooked on the grill and just tried not to fall asleep into the pie. But the food was good and all ended well.

Just a note all picture taken on the entry were taken by Grandpa and thus (due to advanced age) tend to be off center and a little bit fuzzy :O)

CJ is serious thinking about the planning of this little people city ~~ hmmm . . . . I wonder where he gets that from?

Awana is over for another year

Tonight was the Awana Awards Ceremony. Robert, Laura, Jonathan and I walked our groups across the stage to get their awards.

Now, we can rest on Wednesday nights (at least until September!).

Got pictures of everyone but Robert --- must be camera shy.

Mother's Day

Well for mother's day we stayed at the house and used the grill. I got to use the new table, the weather was perfect, and I finally got my swing up!! The boys and Alyssa loved it.

New additions to the backyard

This is the completed pergola, except for the swing which will be added soon!

This is the new patio table and chairs just waiting for our summer grilling and eating.....

Emily and I worked long and hard to get the mondo grass between the rocks but we finally completed the task and like the result so far.
