Back in Lubbock

Well after being all over the country, Rene and I are back in Lubbock and doing well. We both went to Snyder for Christmas and then he left for San Diego and I left for Tulsa.
I have to admit to experiencing a certain amount of dread at the thought of school starting tommorow. Today was a work day and I worked for most of it trying to get things organized and a plan for the new semester in place. I think it will be okay, but I wouldn't be sad if I had a few more days just to sit and do nothing.
Rene's conference went really well, and he had a wonderful time. It is becoming more and more clear that he is a natural administrator and organizer. And it has been fun to watch as he has discovered this and felt the freedom to live in his gifting.
We both got a lot of fun things for Christmas and had fun seeing our families, but I think are ready for the routine of daily living to start up again. Of course that won't be happening right away, since Rene is leaving on Wednesday morning for national staff conference. Sigh, single again for another weekend.
Oh well I'll make do and after this trip he shouldn't be going anywhere for awhile which we are both happy about.

That's all for now.

yeah, school starting up is stinky, at least I get to wait a week longer than you =P

Have fun with the kids I suppose, and good luck with the lesson plans. Hope Rene's flight and conference goes well.
