So I have been a lazy blogger this past couple of weeks. And am primarily writing anything at all because of guilt and shame. Oh so sad for me.
But hey whatever....
Let's see this should be an eventful weekend. After a year of doing nothing staff or InterVarsity related I am volunteering at Breakthrough. For those uninitiated in the language of InterVarsity read spring retreat for college students over a weekend. So I will be around college students again. I don't know what I feel about it at this point. I am viewing it somewhat as a testing ground. Do I really miss staff life or having been gone for a year do I have a different perspective. We'll see it really should be good as I will get to see students I really love and really good friends. If you think of it offer up some prayers of guidance for me and Rene.
Other than that I am also through 25 weeks of teaching and only have 11 left and that seems crazy....The year has gone by really fast and now I am finally into some science stuff I really enjoy learning about and teaching. Although it means I am driving myself crazy trying to come up with good lessons for the kiddos.
Basketball season ended with my team winning 8 games and losing 2. And those two were to the same team so I think that makes us unoffically 2nd in the district. I was really proud of the girls. WE are entering into track season and I'm excited because I get to be the distance coach which shockingly I actually understand and know about having run distance back in the stone ages. I am also apparently the long jump and triple jump coach, something I have vague ideas about but like in theory. So maybe things are looking up...
Who knows?
I have no pictures to add because well I don't take a lot and what would I put pictures of anyway. Maybe I will take some at Breakthrough...
