I'm Moved into the House of Wind and Fury

So here I am in McKinney, week three sort of . . . so far life is all about work and trying to make a space in my mom's house for me and Rene. My mom's house is big and loud and cluttered. And right now I am struggling to find space within it to you know think. Rene is still in Lubbock so I am forced to tread these dangerous waters on my own.
Currently the screams of babies ring in my ears whenever I get quiet. For those of you who don't know I am working in a church child care program with babies ranging in age from 12 months to 18 months. I work four days a week for six hours. In many ways it is a cush job, what with a few hours and no take home. However I gotta say the baby screams are really sticking with me after work is over. I know it will get better as the weeks pass.
Ideally this job will give me the freedom to really look into schools and make future plans. Which is really why I'm here in McKinney in the first place to figure out grad school.
Rene will be joining me here in McKinney on Thursday, although it seems like he keeps adding days. I wonder why?
