Well so I'm still alive

Hey well I am still alive and so is my garden and stuff. Well mostly anyway. Nothing very new or exciting to report. Let's see I fertilized the garden today and sprayed for bugs yesterday, and had to cut down some plants to make room for others. Unfortunatley my lawn looks like a total mess because I don't have a lawn mower and have not sucked it up enough to ask my neighbor to use hers. I am a giganto coward I guess. I need to cut the grass, weed and feed and spray for bugs. I guess it never ends.
As far as my life outside of gardening well...I am getting into the routine of work now and am trying to decide if I want to look for another job. One that pays a little more. I am also trying to wake up and get to moving around here, you know do stuff like the dishes, cleaning, writing, etc...
I am missing my family lots, hey family, and wishing I could come see them. But I dont' know when that will happen what with gas prices be utterly ridiculous and not getting days off of work. That's life I suppose. But I am going to try hard in May to at least get down to see my nephews. Sorry nephews haven't seen you yet. SIGH...

Love and kisses

Whirlwind Tour

Well Rene and I are back from our Whirlwind tour of central texas. Basically four cities in three days. But it was a lot of fun. Especially to see college station again after having not been there in a year and a half or more. It still feels familar and like home. I got to eat good food and see good friends what more can you ask for. It was a much needed break after a hectic and crazy week.
I was however totally bummed about the time change. It took me by suprise and I must admit I am even now not ready for it. It is nearly 1:00 on monday and I feel very behind. It should only be around noon and even then I would be behind.
My friend's wedding, Anglea Lowry (former staff worker), was beautiful, small, and in a tiny town called East Benard. Again good times, good friends. Must say I am a little bummed to be home. It is good to see however that my plants survived and infact have many seedlings coming up in the garden plot. Maybe things will be different this year. Although I do think something dug a hole in one of my squares, probably a cat.
Oh well I should work on this course for my job some and probably get ready for work. SIGH!!!!

Garden Week 2

So I have had these pictures ready to go forever but havenot gone through with putting them up call me a slacker it's allright. You will notice that the beds are organized and that iris's are pretty.
This week has sucked a lot. Work has been hard and wierd with something bad or crazy happening everyday. I have been in a big old funk and not sleeping well. All in all a great combination. So horray.
Rene and I are getting ready to leave for College STation and as usual are running late with a lot to do. But I thought I would let people know what's up. WE are going to a wedding. How exciting is that !!! I'll let you know how it goes.
