Longing for home
Well here's a picture of me looking super fly in my new glasses if not just a little tired.
I am soooo ready for thanksgiving break, I cannot express to you how much I am looking forward to seeing everyone. Finally a thanksgiving with the whole family. I almost want to cry. So to kisses and hugs to everyone.
In other news my little basketball players somehow won their first game. I'm still not sure how they did it but I guess that's good news. I am busy trying to teach my 8th graders physics and well I never really liked physics to begin with.
Once again I am home alone for a couple of days and once again the weather is nasty. Can you believe it's already snowed twice and we have gotten so much rain, it's kind of crazy. I mean this is Lubbock it doesn't rain here on and in other news tomatoes and tomatillos grew like crazy and so did carrots. What's up with that?

Short hair
Well here it is the long awaited picture of Rene's much much shorter hair. Isn't he cute!!!
In other news Rene is back home from his trip to San Diego and trying to recoup after a garage sale this weekend. He has a lot to do this week as he will be leaving for San Fransico on Friday. I know all unfairness for me as I will be here in Lubbock instead of beautiful California. Ahhh California.
Also have my first basketball scrimmage this week. Yeah for me I only have one team this go around instead of two and don't have to go to after school practices. I probably will go to a couple of weeks just to try to get caught up on all that basketball info I have missed over the years.
In other news I am busy knitting again and you will all have to wait to see what it is. He he he he he he he wicked laugh.

Snow
Woke up yesterday morning to snow. Which really is a little strange even for Lubbock but this morning when I woke up it had snow a total of 4.5 inches. Craziness.
Which means this morning school is delayed for two hours. So that's cool because when I get to school it means I will be able to get lots of grading done and considering it's the end of the 6 weeks that is a really good thing.
So here are a couple of pictures of snow.
This is mufasa last night hating the snow but looking like a mountian cat.
And this is my garden, sadness, this morning.
And now off to school and all the hyperactivity of snow bound middle schoolers yeah!!!! :(
