Let the hair judging begin
All right so here it is three different choices of hair styles. Some days are good hair and some days are bad. You tell me which you like best....
In other news the first week back to work activities were a complete waste of time. What I mean by that is the first day was spent organizing the high school volleyball coaches equipment room. Because being a junior high we have ninth grade students which means that the junior high coaches have to do stuff for the high school coaches. Don't ask me to explain. From what I can tell it means we do busy work and they don't help us do anything. We'll see. The second day moving into my new classroom (twice as big as my old closet room but still not a real science lab it is a converted art room). This was productive but didn't take very much time because I wasn't really motivated. The third day was spent planning the coaching season (which meant me helping the head coach edit a letter and making lists of all the things yet to be done) and getting well nothing done because computers kept freaking out. So hey lots to do starting monday which is when ninth grade tryouts begin. Yeah for ninth graders causing me lots of extra work....

So work starts tommorow
So I start back to work tommorow. Blahhh!!! The joys of being a coach. Anyway, to start a new year I decided a new day was a good choice. So after two years I cut off all my hair and donated it to Locks of Love ( a nonprofit that makes wigs for sick kids with the donated hair). Below you will see one of the new styles of hair I can wear. Let me know what you think. I guess?????

The countdown begins
So I start back to work on July 27th. Why you ask for this particular two and a half week earlier than everybody else starting date. Well that would be do to the insanity of being a coach. Yeah, isn't that special. So I am trying to spend this next week doing fun stuff and chilling and slightly preparing myself for the new school year. I had great intentions this summer of working on lesson plans well in advance. What was I thinking???? So now hopefully I can at least get started three weeks in advance.
I am feeling okay about getting back to the grind of teaching and coaching. Not excited but not full of too much dread.
Hopefully will update with some more regularity but we will see.
